It all started in 2004 when my partner and I were involved on the inside of the financial services industry and we realised the mortgage business is an old, time-bound industry. Governed by old fashioned practices that typically benefit mortgage brokers as opposed to homebuyers.
So, in 2005 we decided to give up our jobs and start doing exactly what we would want as a customer. Having experienced first hand, and from both sides of the fence, not just poor service, but worse...no service...we knew we had to improve this industry. We wanted to start a revolution by delivering fantastic, on time, friendly service with a personal touch. We also knew it was the little things that make a big difference. No more poor service, no more take it or leave it attitude, no more smoke and mirrors.
Above all, we wanted to make our clients feel special. Our mission was to provide a customised mortgage service that was customer focused as opposed to commission focused, so we decided to re-invent the industry.
We only hire the best people, people who are naturally driven and customer service orientated - with no exception. You can train people to be great mortgage consultants, but you can't train motivation and customer service; despite what training companies may tell you. It's in-bred, you either have it or you don't.
We've taken on time fantastic service, transparent fees, and we've mixed in a culture that is young, fun, and completely customer focused. In fact, being accountable to our clients is what drives us forward; they are a constant source of innovation and feedback.
We've also taken a low tech business and put a high tech spin on it. So we can ensure our clients get detailed mortgage reports, the latest research, and mortgage advice that is unique to your own specific circumstances. It allows us to respond quickly, without delay.
Based on providing the mortgage of a lifetime, having a bespoke service, we do all of this by making the mortgage process transparent by revealing the blind spots and time bombs, myths and realities.
